Designed by international experts, this curriculum will address the specific needs of communities and offer best practices in sustainable teaching and youth engagement. It includes practical guidelines, strategies for fostering youth participation, and insights into using street art to promote community development. The curriculum serves as the foundation for STAR 2.0's online training program, ensuring long-lasting impact and inclusion.

STAR 2.0 Online Training Course: Empowering Youth Workers with Street Art

The STAR 2.0 Online Training Course equips youth workers with the tools and methodologies to engage disadvantaged youth through street art. Drawing from the project’s comprehensive curriculum, the training focuses on creative thinking and urban art as powerful tools for social inclusion. Youth workers, facilitators, and stakeholders are actively involved in shaping the course, ensuring it meets the needs of local communities. Through workshops, videos, podcasts, and interactive tools, participants will learn to design and lead impactful street art projects that foster youth engagement and community development.

STAR 2.0 Online Community Platform: A Space for Learning and Collaboration

The STAR 2.0 Online Community Platform is a dynamic hub for youth workers, offering access to a wealth of project results, training materials, and collaborative tools. This platform serves as both a learning repository and a social space where youth workers can explore content, engage in discussions, and participate in group activities. Designed to enhance digital skills and foster peer learning, the platform encourages active participation, enabling users to share resources, ideas, and creative projects. Accessible beyond the project’s timeline, it supports a lasting community for professionals and stakeholders in the field of street art and social inclusion.

Street Art Interventions: Transforming Communities Through Art

As part of the STAR 2.0 project, at least 8 new street art murals will be created in neighbourhoods facing exclusion across four countries. These vibrant artworks will not only beautify urban spaces but also inspire community pride, sparking dialogue around important local issues. Local artists, selected through an open call, will collaborate with residents to bring their stories and perspectives to life. Videos documenting the creation of these murals will be available on the online platform, where the community can vote for their favourite. The murals will also be featured in our online gallery, each with a powerful social message.
